After my death our beloved Church abroad will break three ways ... first the Greeks will leave us as they were never a part of us ... then those who live for this world and its glory will go to Moscow ... what will remain will be those souls faithful to Christ and His Church. ~St. Philaret of NY

Abp. Andronik Paschal Epistle 2016

It is the day of resurrection! Let us be illumined for the feast! Pascha! The Pascha of the Lord! From death unto life, and from earth unto heaven has Christ our God led us! Singing the song of victory.

Christ is Risen!

Dear pastors, monastics, and laypeople in the Lord!
Brothers and sisters!

The Christian feast of Pascha is a time of radiant religious celebration and spiritual joy.  The feast of feasts and the celebration of celebrations, Christian Pascha is held in reverence everywhere, where people know Christ.  A joyous feast, Pascha in the Christian church is also the most ancient feast.  Its origin arises from the time of the actual event, and the feast of Pascha is established in the Christian church in honor and remembrance of it.

Christians have celebrated this joyous feast already for almost two thousand years.  Once again, the Lord has blessed us to meet the luminous days of Pascha.  May we give thanks and glorify the Resurrected Lord our Jesus Christ for His infinite mercy and charity!

I sincerely congratulate all of you with the Radiant Feast of the Lord’s Pascha, and I pray and wish you shining Paschal joy, peace, good health and salvation.  May the Lord Who resurrected after three days grace you with His mighty and bountiful mercies!
