After my death our beloved Church abroad will break three ways ... first the Greeks will leave us as they were never a part of us ... then those who live for this world and its glory will go to Moscow ... what will remain will be those souls faithful to Christ and His Church. ~St. Philaret of NY

The above was from last night's Vespers for Mode 1 Plagal and the taking away of the Cathedral's Feast chanted by the Cathedral Schola.

The Anaphora, Communion Hymn, and Apolysis of this morning's Liturgy for the Leave-taking of the Nativity of the Theotokos as chanted by the Schola Cantorum.  The conclusion of the Cherubic Hymn is that of Gregory Protopsaltis, the Communion Hymn -I will take the cup of salvation is that of Petros Lampadarios in the 1st Mode.
