After my death our beloved Church abroad will break three ways ... first the Greeks will leave us as they were never a part of us ... then those who live for this world and its glory will go to Moscow ... what will remain will be those souls faithful to Christ and His Church. ~St. Philaret of NY

Wall Calendar Options

SJKP will provide a free downloadable printable wall calendar for 2017, but it probably will not be ready until January 1.

Matushka Anastasia says the 2017 calendar will look just like the old one.

In the meantime, while we wait for our own calendar, here are 2 options suggested by ROCA members:

MP website

GOC website

I'm not posting the option to buy ROCOR-MP St. Innocent Press (SIP) calendar because:

I believe what Fr. Gregory told me – that immediately after 17May2007, ROCOR-MP's Whiteford "spearheaded attempts at an SJKP boycott."

Whiteford (of the former unionite infamous Lebedeff/Whiteford/Shaw internet goon team), of course, denies this and accuses me of "slander." And of being "unchristian", because it is unchristian to slander. I can't prove what Whiteford did, but I can prove that Fr. Gregory told me that – since I have it in writing in an email from him to me.

And I believe that Whiteford used St. Innocent Press to help him in his boycotting dirty work.

For one thing, their wall calendar looks too much like the SJKP wall calendar with the pink fast days and the whole layout.

For another thing, Whiteford is the editor of the SIP Liturgical Calendar. SIP Liturgical Calendar and the SJKP Liturgical Calendar are dependent on the same sources (Jordanville and typicon expert Daniel Olson). It serves only as an alternative for ROCOR-MP members, so they do not have to support the SJKP. The SIP Liturgical Calendar is just a substitute, and Whiteford even admits that recently people "...were concerned that the fact that the SJKP Liturgical Calendar was ceasing publication might mean that the SIP Calendar was going to do likewise..." So even to the casual observer it can appear that the SIP calendar is dependent on the SJKP calendar.

I'm not posting the option to use Ponomar website because:

Ponomar Website has the philopophy that all liturgical materials should be free, and then in the same breath they ask for volunteers. I once asked them, what about people who devote all their money-making hours to publishing and also have publishing expenses, how can they offer these materials for free unless they are a Rockefeller? Ponomarnever answered me.

Because of their philopsophy, that Fr. Gregory is wrong to charge for his labors, I do not use this website. It is Biblical that the laborer is worthy of his hire – Christ told his disciples to accept wages.
