After my death our beloved Church abroad will break three ways ... first the Greeks will leave us as they were never a part of us ... then those who live for this world and its glory will go to Moscow ... what will remain will be those souls faithful to Christ and His Church. ~St. Philaret of NY

• A Brief Overview of the Psaltic Art, Grammenos Karanos, PhD
The following article was published by a friend and colleague of mine, Dr. Grammenos Karanos, who has headed up the, now largely successful, resurrection of the psaltic musical arts program at Hellenic College/Holy Cross Seminary in Brookline, MA. While his targeted readership is doubtlessly primarily in the New Calendar Greek Archdiocese, it is superb food for thought from a superb teacher of the psaltic arts who is committed, along with me to the preeminence and pride of place of this sacred and sacramental musical art in the Liturgy of us who are the legacy of the Great Church.  Καλω ψαλτικη
