After my death our beloved Church abroad will break three ways ... first the Greeks will leave us as they were never a part of us ... then those who live for this world and its glory will go to Moscow ... what will remain will be those souls faithful to Christ and His Church. ~St. Philaret of NY

from the ROCOR Council October 2017 in Odessa

Affirmation against the idea of "jurisdictional ecumenism":
We, the representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia and the True Orthodox Church of Greece, testify that the Church of Christ from the very foundation of the world to the end of the world was and is Edina, it can not divide into equitable and saving branches or fragments.
ROCOR-GOC Joint Appeal to those in Schism  13/26 October 2017

 Definitions of "jurisdictional ecumenism":
• The recently emerged version of the harmful ecumenical heresy, which maintains that in recent times the Church has lost its unity and will consist of separate groups that do not have a prayerful and eucharistic communion with each other.
Our Synod Message to all the faithful children of ROCOR 13/26 October 2017

• The heretic confession of the fact that the Church was supposedly divided into separate, equally gratifying groups especially spread in recent times and promotes divisions and formations of new jurisdictions even among seemingly earnest Christians sincerely wishing to be saved. We do not accept and reject this false teaching, as a kind of ecumenical heresy, stating that the Church of Christ was divided into branches.
ROCOR-GOC Joint Appeal to those in Schism 13/26 October 2017

 A Definition of us:
In fact, today we are the remnant of the Local Russian Church, which preserved through the Russian Orthodox Church abroad the canonical succession and undistorted Orthodox faith.
