After my death our beloved Church abroad will break three ways ... first the Greeks will leave us as they were never a part of us ... then those who live for this world and its glory will go to Moscow ... what will remain will be those souls faithful to Christ and His Church. ~St. Philaret of NY

The Divine Liturgy for Palm Sunday.  A slight liturgical gaff at the Trisagion, I think from old errant liturgical instruction we had for years -O Ye that in Christ was chanted instead of the Trisagion, as appointed in the Triodion and the Typikon of the Great Church.  My bad.  At any rate the Dynamis is that of the blind monk Dositheos Katounakis of the Fili monastery.  Following the agraphon Typikon of the Great Church, the Cherubikon is in the 4th Mode, which we chanted according to the melody of Petros Lampadarios.  The communion verse for the Feast is that of Manuel Chrysaph (the Younger) in 4th Mode
